Julie Aleve Fine is an experienced trial attorney with over 50 jury trials in the State of Florida. Growing up as the daughter of two former criminal defense attorneys in Gainesville, Florida, Ms. Fine was drawn to litigation and began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Office of the State Attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit. She now enjoys practicing with her parents as the lead litigation attorney at Fine, Farkash & Parlapiano, P.A., focusing on personal injury cases.
In the five years since joining the firm in 2016, Ms. Fine has obtained 10 civil jury verdicts; obtaining Florida’s 37th Highest Verdict for 2017 and one of Florida’s Top 50 Highest Verdicts in 2019. Ms. Fine has been selected by The National Trial Lawyers as “Top 40 Under 40” for Civil Plaintiff Lawyers for the past 5 years in a row. In March 2019 she obtained a jury verdict of over $1.4 million for a nonsurgical pedestrian case.
In addition to her trial work, Ms. Fine has successfully argued multiple civil cases in front of the First District Court of Appeal as well as the Florida Supreme Court. Ms. Fine was appointed to the Florida Bar Civil Procedure Rules Committee in 2021, and proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Justice Association.
